Can I remove an item from my order after it has been placed?

If you have placed your order within the last 15 minutes, you can cancel your original order and place your order again after removing the unwanted item.

The 15-minute cancellation window exists as an exception to the general policy that orders cannot be modified once placed because orders go into production immediately.

  • Go to the Orders page in your profile

  • Click “Cancel” next to your order

  • Once cancelled, click “Reorder”

  • Click “Select All" and then remove the unwanted samples

  • Click “Add to Cart”

  • Review and click “Place Your Order”

As we process orders quickly to support overnight shipping, if your order was placed more than 15 minutes ago, unfortunately we are unable to remove any samples. Please feel free to return any unwanted samples.

If you wish to obtain additional samples, you can create a new order. Additionally, when multiple orders are placed within the same shipping window and are being sent to the same address, Material Bank typically combines them into one shipment to support sustainability and reduce packaging waste.
